The ones who care beyond compare.

Spanning multiple cultures, generations, educational backgrounds and areas of medical expertise, our multilingual team delivers care that’s as human as care gets.

Rebekah Bray

Rebekah was born and raised in nearby Syracuse and still makes her home there with her husband and two young children. “I started in long-term care in the recreation department, but I moved to social work so that I could extend the help I offer not just to residents but to their families and friends as well. On the recreation team, you help people have a good time, but no matter how hard you try, if someone is distracted by problems outside of the room, they won’t have a good time. Social Workers solve those outside problems, and that means I’m contributing to a better time for our residents each day, to more effective therapy, to more fulfilling relationships and to a better time in activities. And that makes me happy.” Rebekah, it makes us and our residents happy to know you feel that way!

Suzanne Reid RN

Director of Nursing

Suzanne has 28 years-experience in the Nursing Industry. Twelve (12) of these years in Sub-Acute/Long Term Care as a Director of Nursing. Other areas of expertise include acute critical care, Insurance nursing (Medicaid as well as Private Insurance) and legal nurse consulting. I have a Bachelor in Business Administration and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Health Care Administration. Nursing has been my focus for the past 28-years, and in these 28-years I have had so many opportunities, but none so great as working with challenges and successes involved in long-term care.

Knowledge is health.

For the absolute highest quality of care, Onondaga Center staffs medical providers on each unit who stay in constant communication with leadership throughout the day. Team collaboration is our forte, and this commitment helps us maintain an unbeatable continuum of care.

Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.
